ColourTrace is designed to make production of colour-coded tabs for files in your own surgery as easy as printing simple bar code labels. Normally, it will be provided as an add-on module in conjunction with QuickTrace but it may be utilised in standalone mode.

Colour tabs provide a means of visually capturing misfiles, i.e. where a file has been replaced on the shelves away from its normal position. The colour bands representing the first three letters of the surname will form continuous runs of colour allowing a misfiled set of notes to be easily seen. In addition the Male/Female colour tab makes finding required files quicker.

Many formats are available and we can match any existing formats. Hence your initial requirements may be met by factory-produced colour tabs to minimise initial effort with ColourTrace providing a fast, easy method of producing colour tabs for new patients as they are required.
